RETURN POLICY

We want you to be totally stoked with your new Goldens, whether you’re in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, or anywhere else we ship. If for any reason you’re unhappy with your order or need to exchange your product, you can return it for store credit within 30 days of receiving your item, provided that:

  • The item is in the same condition you received it in (new and unused)

  • It has not been worn or washed

  • You can provide your order number and proof of purchase

  • The item was purchased directly from heresgolden.com (not third-party retailers)

For change of mind returns, you are responsible for all return shipping charges. You will not be credited your initial shipping costs. We highly recommend returning your parcel with tracking, as returns are at your risk until they reach our warehouse.

How to start a return or exchange:

  1. Email us at hello@heresgolden.com with your order number and reason for return

  2. If approved, we’ll send you a return authorization and instructions on where to ship

  3. Pack the item securely in its original condition with all tags attached

  4. Ship it back to the address we provide (return shipping is your responsibility)

Once we receive and inspect your return (usually within 3-5 business days), we’ll process your store credit within 5 business days and email you the credit details.


PLEASE NOTE:

  • Sale items can be returned for store credit (same conditions apply)

  • Gift cards cannot be refunded or exchanged

  • Change of mind returns are only available for purchases made directly through heresgolden.com

  • Hygiene returns: Items that come in contact with skin (like jandals/flipflops) must be unworn with original packaging for hygiene reasons

  • Bulk/commercial orders may have different return terms—please contact us directly

US CUSTOMERS: Some states have additional consumer protection laws that may extend your return rights beyond our policy. Where applicable, state law takes precedence. Return shipping remains your responsibility unless the item arrives faulty or damaged.


CHANGE OF MIND

If you simply change your mind, we offer store credit only (no cash refunds). Please refer to our Return Policy above for full details.


OUR WARRANTY

At Golden, we stand by the quality and science behind our bread-tag technology. That’s why we offer a 12-month replacement warranty against manufacturing defects on all Golden products purchased from heresgolden.com.

What’s NOT covered:

  • Normal wear and tear from everyday use

  • Damage from improper use, neglect, or accidents

  • Modifications or repairs attempted by anyone other than Golden

How to claim warranty:

  1. Email hello@heresgolden.com within 12 months of purchase with:

    • Detailed description of the issue

    • Clear photos/videos of the defect

    • Proof of purchase (order number)

  2. If approved, we’ll provide prepaid return shipping and arrange replacement or repair

Faulty items are assessed case-by-case. If we determine the issue is due to manufacturing defect, we’ll work with you on the best solution (replacement or store credit). Golden reserves the right to reject warranty claims for items damaged through misuse or normal wear.
